Pricing history of the only real Chi Machine from HTE Americas
HTE and the Chi Machine came into being 20 years ago (1989). The initial price in the U.S.A. for the Chi Machine was $460.00. Our first price increase occurred in early 2000 and the increase amounted to $20.00, bringing the total price to $480.00. The only other price increase change we have ever had was a shipping/handling charge of $10.00. The company never wavered from the total delivered price of $490.00 until one 10 day period in March of 2008, when the economy was starting to erode. This happened because HTE, for the first time in their existence, offered the public the same special pricing ($370.00) that the Distributors for the company received for attending their National Convention. This turned out to be a booming success, so it was repeated in August '08. With the U.S. economy completely tanking by spring of '09, it was rolled out again this past March. So, in the twenty year existence of HTE the Chi Machine has been at the only off price ($370.00) for a total of some 30 days.
Now, what transpired as far as Chi Machine special pricing since this past March? For the second quarter (April through June) we have offered the Chi Machine at $399.00 plus $10.00 s/h, with free box of Chi Formula - a $60.00 value. Then in May HTE added another special in order to help thwart the swine flu epidemic. That special consisted of the Chi Machine for $399.00 with no s/h charge, and included 2 bottles of the Betaloe (flu inhibitor), a $90.00 value. This program also concluded on June 30, 2009.
