For maximum benefits from the use of this amazing machine please print and make full utilization of the following:

Chi Machine instructions:  You may use the Chi Machine as many times a day as you wish, with some time period between sessions. The most important (beneficial) sessions are first thing in the morning and just before bedtime.  Secure ankle rest cover on ankle rest with elastic bands.

1. Do not use the Chi Machine within the first hour after consuming food.

2. Use a fairly solid base for the body, such as carpeted floor.  You may use a thin pillow for your head if you wish.  You may also place a pillow under knees if you have knee problems.

3.Plain side of the machine casing should be facing your body, with the handle side below feet.

4. Drink at least an 8 oz glass of water before commencing session.

5. Place ankles in ankle rest.  The ankle rests should have some soft covering, such as a folded hand towel, if soft covering is not provided.

6. Stay relaxed for best results.  You can measure degree of relaxation by observing how well feet are "flopping".  "Loose flopping" is most desirable.

7. Initial use should not exceed 5 minutes on timer.  After first or second session you can gradually increase minutes at your discretion.

8. Very important - stay relaxed while in place for at least 2 or 3 minutes after machine cuts off.  You may bend your knees with feet on floor if desired.   If you feel a tingling or floating sensation during this period; that's excellent.  This is simply the new energy flowing through your body.

9. Following relaxed period, bend knees until feet are flat on base surface, with arms at your side.  Slowly turn knees to one side (as far as comfortable) with shoulders still flat on surface and back up - then to the other side.  Do this at least twice to each side.

10. During entire process you will provide additional oxygen to the body and blood system by taking deep breaths through the nose, holding for a few seconds, then exhaling through the mouth.

11. Get up slowly, then drink another glass of water (8 oz or more).

You should feel great after following this regimen.  It certainly has helped your body to better health.

One other point - there are 3 arm positions recommended while the machine is going.  One is with arms beside the body, two is with hands behind your head (for upper body support), and three is with hands extended above head as far as you can comfortably reach (for shoulders area).  You may use any of these positions you find desirable.  Pleasant CHI-ing!
